Shaft: (1) SS 360 12.75mm 6 piece splice, juma ferrule w/ kamui med. black.
(2) SS 360 13mm on order.

Butt: G-10 radial, purpleheart core, ebony forearm, tulipwood points, handle, and buttsleeve, tulipwood and ebony dec. rings. 19oz. (total)

3 piece matching jp's in the making!

the balance on this cue is great! feels very evenly balanced! this cue plays superb! it also looks very sharp! the ebony is jet black, the tulipwood is very bright and has some nice figure to it! very happy with the way this cue looks and plays! if you haven't tried one of bob's cues or shafts, you need to give one a try.

Just emailed my specs over to Bob for a shaft that'll mate with a Joss butt.

I'm dying to get it!

How's your BD cue shoot?

Your cue looks GREAT! I've ordered a SS360 shaft (13mm) for a Dufferin Sneaky Pete. It should be finished within the next week or two (hopefully).

I'll post a review of the shaft once I've received it and given it some playing time...

it plays very nice, has a firm hit to it. i thought i would have a hard time switching rom my jacoby to my bd cue, but it has been a nice transition.

are you getting the ss 360 shaft? cant go wrong with this shaft!

What are the noticeable differences between your 12.75mm and 13mm SS360 shafts other than the feeling the diameter thickness causes in your bridge hand?

Is the deflection of the 13mm comparable to the 12.75mm or are they noticeable different?

i dont have the 2nd shaft yet, ordered it after i got my cue from bob.
 
Yes I am getting the SS360 at a 12.50 and a Tiger Sniper tip. I figure if its all everbody has said his stuff is, I'll send him my Falcon shaft and have him make one for that too (the joint is decorated and I'd like it to match).

I am also considering having him make me a cue too. His quoted price to me was more than reasonable!

I cant wait to get the SS360 on my Joss...
 
SS360, those do play pretty well never heard of it until I got one as a bonus with a cue I purchased

Where do you purchase these now, know I had a hard time figuring out what exactly it was for a good while . Previous owner had bought it in Vegas for his meucci oiriginal captain hook

Bob is a great guy. I emailed him, heard back same day within hours. I also bugged him with questions on a custom cue for myself after seeing poolshooter74's cue in this thread. I paypal'd half up front and just paid the other portion.

I'm working on a design for the cue he's making me and specs, the shaft is expected to be shipped next week.

You'll need to know your length and the joint flat face area measurement for the shaft. I chose the Sniper tip, the shaft thickness and a ring on the joint.

Once I get it I'm going be on the table for a few days... Then I'll post some feed back lol

did you get your shaft yet?

i have been shooting with mine for almost 2 months now and am really in love with my bd cue and ss 360 shaft.

i had asked for the second shaft to be 13mm but am debating the 12.5mm too?

i also forgot to mention that bob was a great guy to deal with, and very good on communication both phone and emails. thanks for pointing that out. i think that is very important when ordering a brand new custom cue!

well looking forward to seeing and hearing about your cue and shafts when you get them.
