Be careful with your cue!

Here is a "beautiful" Schon that came in a month or so ago. Upon inspection, I noticed the cue had been "refinished" before. Take a close look at the diamonds and you will see they are partially sanded out. 23 diamonds in all had some degree of loss and the butt diameter was very thin. I offered the customer the option to have them replace but he declined because he bought it this way, at a good price. Its a shame what happens to some cues.

I see his point. It would have been better if they weren't damaged in the first place, but I can see why he'd prefer the damaged originals to replacements even if the replacements looked better.

Not my taste in cues, but I must commend you on a job well done. What happen to the red outlines they go away or is it just the pics?

Nice job on the refinish If i was the customer and got the cue at a great price I would have put the couple extra buck's into it and had the diamonds replaced. But you did a great job on the refinish.

They show up on my screen but it is probably just the pics....kind of dark.
