Be thankful

I just wanted to say that any fellow posters here who have a pool hall to play at should be thankful. I have to deal with idiots at the bar who are constantly in the way, screaming loud out of tune karoake, walking/moving constantly in your line of sight etc. Not only that, but except for league, nobody plays safety/ball in hand type rules so it's all offense,offense,offense. People leave mid-game to go sing a f...ing song. I still win the majority of the time, but by the end of the night my mood is shot and I am disgusted. So if you have a pool hall and have people surrounding you who actually care about the game, be thankful because I wish I had the same. Sorry, just needed to vent!

Be thankful you have a table to use. There are some less fortunate people in this world. :D

There's nothing wrong with offense offense offense. If you want defense, play 1-pocket or golf. You think Shane and Jesse play safe on the bar box? Hell no...they'd rather just run out. You'll just learn to be able to get out from everywhere.
 
I think Jesse and Shane would be happy to be able to play a safe when the rare situation arises where they can't get out instead of selling out. I just like having that option
 
Make the best of it, ledrums... To me, sounds like an easy spot to grab wads of cash :)

And yeah, get a home table...
