Just wondering if anybody has any experience with Beach Brand Tables, my buddy picked one up last night for a good price. It seems like a good solid table, just lookin for some info/reviews.

They were made in Sta Ana, California.
They closed the store/factory many moons ago.
I don't know much how they were contstructed.
They had heavy competitors a few miles away that sold Olhausen and Brunswick.

They have a website that's still up, but I tried both calling and emailing and wasn't able to raise anyone. So JoeyInCali may be right, they may be kaput.

I asked my pool table mechanic and he said they were a "furniture table brand," i.e., more into the furniture/woodworking bits than the pool-playing/pool-table bits. But all that means is that the PLAYING quality of the tables is still a mystery...I wouldn't want to slam them but I wouldn't want to endorse them without knowing more about how they're constructed, with what materials, how easy they are to keep true, which cushions they use, how good their pocket geometry is, etc.

Some "furniture tables" are wretched, even some big names. But some (A.E. Schmidt, for instance) appear to be quite good.

I had a Beach "Dolphin" for years. No complaints here.
My Diamond was a big improvement though!
