Overall Condition

 I know you mentioned that the cue was recently refinished and I'd merely like to confirm that the shafts do not have any noticeable dings, dents scarpes or scuffs and that the shafts and cue align straight and true. The last Joss West I was considering didn't feel right when stroked. I measured the shaft with an electronic caliper and found that it had been sanded so that the ferrule was 13.2mm but 2-3 inches down the shaft it was only 12.81 mm from I suppose was really poor sanding over the years. I am considering this cue for purchase and so I'd like to verify that when assembled and rolled on the pool table, the taper is true and cue rolls completely flat and in contact with the felt.

Thanks,

Matt

Hey Matt,
I rolled the butt alone on the pool table tonight and it looks perfect.
I also rolled the cue with both shafts and it looked great.
I rolled the 30" shaft alone and it was dead on the table with no visible light from under the shaft.
I rolled the 30.75" shaft alone on the table it looked great as it rolled across the table although I could see just a hint of light however we are talking about a very slight amount of light.
Both shafts are nice and slick, I could not feel any dings.
