I just spoke to the son... his name is also Carl.
Carl died about 10 years ago and had a condition which stopped him from playing pool for the last 5 years of his life.
His wife died only a few months ago...
I then called the local Billiard shop that Carl use to play in....
I spoke to the owner who knew Carl but does not remember ever seeing this Fellini case... the son also said he has not seen this case.
It is their belief that this case was put away and then possibly sold to help with medical bills...but noone knows how it got to Kansas. it would be interesting to hear from the seller how he acquired this case.
