mechanic/player said:Clean the joint area of all loose debris, use a propane torch to heat the joint slightly, then melt the wax into the joint area about an inch wide, allow to cool enuff to slightly harden and scrape off the excess with a 3 to 4 in scraper with a non flexible blade, allow it to cool for a few mins , feel to make sure it didnt sag and repeat if nessasary.

Since I'm a good AZB'er and immediately do anything and everything posted on this board, I just friggin' torched up my priceless Balabushka. Not to mention that I now have melted wax all over the place. Damnit!
