Here are a few things I like in my Titlist conversions, I can't think of anything you have to be that concerned about except the blank itself, and how vibrant the veneer colors are.
Hoppe style vs. white or delrin butt cap, I like em both on Titlist conversions, leaning toward Hoppe rings, and a smooth black leather or green spec linen wrap...maybe Cortland
Many Titlist conversions have ivory joints, all of mine do, some are piloted, some are flat face, and I like the simple inlays if any, maybe mother of pearl split diamonds or ivory.
That's all I can think of except for some of the complications cuemakers have using old blanks.
