This is an open 8-ball tournament that features a race to 6, no handicaps, double elimination, big calcutta and $35 entry fee. Open means anyone can play. Ladies play free in all open events.

All regular events are $1000 added prorated on 64 players.

Tournament tables are 14 Diamond bar boxes with Simonis 860HR cloth and Super Aramith Pro balls. Doors open at 10:00 am for free practice on the tournament tables until noon. Lights out & calcutta starts at noon. No practicing allowed on the tournament tables during the calcutta. First matches called immediately at the end of the calcutta.

The Carom Room offers free wireless internet. Ask Dave for the details.

As many players will testify, playing the "open" fields is often times easier than the "no master" fields :eek: Come find out for yourself!!
 
This is the 2nd 8-ball of three this season for the "open" division. If you like 8-ball now is the time to play!

All Diamond barboxes have been recovered with new Simonis 860HR cloth and rails professionally re-calibrated to eliminate those short angles. They play even better :thumbup:
 
November is here!! Everyone should be playing a little pool by now. Come play at the Carom Room in Beloit this Saturday ;)
 
We ended up with 45 total entries today. With 6 free entries from the ladies and $703 added by the Carom Room the total tourney payout is $1,678. The calcutta brought in another $2,620. Paying 8 in the tourney and 4 in the calcutta.
