More money this year with the $40 entry fee. That extra $5 goes straight to the tournament prize money.

Open to everyone. The race is 9/8/7 for master/advanced/open so everyone has a shot at winning

It's Tuesday! Just a few days until the tourney this Saturday.

More money & everyone can play & win

I have not made it in the last 3 years

I have wanted to make it to the Carom Room for 3 years. Maybe this year, I will have to see how I am feeling this year

Last minute maybe...

Duane, do you see any problem with last minute arrivals Saturday morning making this event. It doesn't look good for me, but who knows. Lol. :)

This is it!! Last time to think about it.

Doors open at 10am for free practice. Calcutta begins at noon sharp. Play begins right after calcutta.

See you all there tomorrow

What makes it easier for an open player to secure a spot?

It would also be saturday morning if i made it, but i dont think i will be a 7.

Still good chance to play?

Look at our results, history says we don't fill 96 spots in the "open" tourneys. We would be happy to but so far the "no master" tourneys are the ones that fill & fill early.

So, no special treatment to anyone just saying there will be spots available tomorrow.

Cool weather today & lots of little tourneys all over the area!!

We ended up with 39 players, $610 in added money and another $3090 in the calcutta. Paying 8 in the tourney & 4 in the calcutta.

Even with a small field first place is paying out just over 2k :)

Any results, Duane? Thanks!

Complete results with players lists and payouts will be posted on The Carom Room website in the next day or two.

Off the top of my head...

1. Leo Campos
2. Richie Richeson
3. Dave Coles
4. Evan London
5. Jeff Carter
6. Mark Horsting
7. Gil Hernandez
8. Sergio Rivas

Yet another awesome payout... especially for the size of the field. Wish I could of been there, as always I live in the wrong town, wish you were across the street. Lol. BTW, Dave's consistency in unmatched! :)
