Yes, we ask all players to check-in. Anyone not checked in by completion of the calcutta will lose their spot and the prepaid waiting list will be used to fill all vacant spots. Checking in early is the best way to go!!



A couple of changes on the list today. Up to 93 prepaid entries.
 
Warming temps and maybe a litlle rain. Should make for easy travel again this coming weekend.


Anyone who wants to play in the 8-ball or 9-ball final events make sure to prepay to guarantee your spot. Due to demand we have opened those 2 events to 128 players. The added money will be $1500 guaranteed and will go up to $2000 on a full 128. That would make for an awesome payday!!
 
Doors open at 10 am for free practice on the tournament tables. Calcutta starts at noon. No shooting on tournament tables during calcutta. First round called within a few minutes after completion of calcutta.
 
Hey guys! We'd love to have you come down to IL for the 2nd Annual River City Open. It is a GREAT tournament and will surely be worth the drive :smile:

With the mail today we have filled the field and now working on the waiting list.

If we have enough "extra" players we will definitely run another tourney on the 9' tables to keep everyone in action ;)
 
Rumors of a couple of players unable to attend. I'll update the list when actually confirmed. The waiting list works :)
 
One confirmed switch. I think we will have a couple more yet and then a few who don't make it the day of the tourney. For those players who care to make the drive the early bird will get the worm... so to speak.
 
A couple more moved off the waiting list and into the main event!!

A full field of 96 players again with over $6,000 in the calcutta to make for another $10,000+ payout for a weekend tournament.


With alternate break 8-ball on the tight Diamond tables the play was a little slow and we are bringing back 20 players to finish up on Sunday.
