Beloit, WI - The Carom Room - $1000+ Added - Oct 23rd - "No Masters" 9-Ball

I know we will have more than 64 paid entries by tomorrow and you know what that means :eek:

Local leagues tonight & handicapped 9-ball tomorrow are sure to take up several spots. Make sure to claim your spot in this 9-ball tourney. Get your entry paid now ;)
 
A few more came in plus some in-person entries. That makes 94 :thumbup:

I would expect those last couple spots to be taken tonight during the weekly handicapped 9-ball tourney. However, we have always used names from the waiting list. I would expect to use from 5 to 10 entries from the pre-paid waiting list.

Still an outside chance to get in the tourney for those that want to show up at 10:00 am tomrrow. We used 10 entries from the waiting list last "no masters". We only have 4 or 5 on the list now.

I'll provide some updates after the tourney gets going tomorrow.
 
Full field of 96. We did use around 8 names off the waiting list and still had several more who could not get in the field :eek:

$1500 added with a full field of 96 and $4900 in the calcutta for an $8800 payout for the weekend.

Thanks for posting that the results were up. Had a great time, and I hope you are feeling better. Maybe see if you can get something a little stronger then rolaids, I was worried about ya when we were outside.
 
When was ward added to the no masters list? Did you guys slip on this one? :)

While the tournament committee is not infallible, we did get this one right :D

Ward was on the master list. He called the week before the tourney and asked about playing in the "no masters" tourney. He was told "no, you are on the BCAPL master list". He was informed that we would allow him to play if he was removed from the BCAPL master list.

Ward took matters in his own hands and worked with Bill Stock of CSI/BCAPL and was moved to an advanced player based on their discussions. Since he was removed from the BCAPL master list Ward was allowed to play. He signed up on the waiting list and made it into the tourney.

Any other jabs :confused:
