This is an open 8-ball tournament that features a race to 6, no handicaps, big calcutta and $35 entry fee. Open means anyone can play. Ladies play free in all open events.

This is the first 8-ball event of the new season! All regular events are $1000 added based on 64 players and scheduled to complete in one day.

The Carom Room has well maintained equipment, good food and plenty of parking.

Alternate break format helps keeps everyone in the game.

The doors will be open and tables available for free practice starting at 10am. Calcutta starts at noon and NO shooting is permitted on the tournament tables during the call of the calcutta.

Open means anyone can play. Bring a little extra cash for the calcutta too!

You need to play in at least 1 of the regular events to qualify for the finals. 8-ball & 9-ball finals this season for both divisions.

Yes, advance registrations are accepted to hold your spot. Please mail it to the Carom Room, 614 E. Grand Ave, Beloit, WI, 53511. Include a note for Dave to let him know which tournament date.

We definitely have set a limit of 96 players this year so it is a good idea to get there early and register.

Yes, all regular events are scheduled for 1 day. In the event of a large field the races may be shortened by 1 game at the tournament directors discretion.

All division final events are scheduled for 2 days and the race will not be shortened. You can find this information on the flyer as well.

Tournament results & player lists will be posted on the Carom Room website within a few days after the event.

Even if you don't play come & watch. Anyone can bid & buy players in the calcutta.

$1000 added prorated on 64 players... more players = more added money

If the field is full at 96 it will be $1500 added!!

More "finals" events this season. You must play in at least one event to qualify!

Free practice starts @ 10 am. Doors normally open earlier. Food & coffee available!

Plenty of new pool supplies as well. Get your Carom Room shirt and represent!!
 
The last match of the night started at 1:30 am. We did have 5 players who chose to come back on Sunday to finish up.

As the flyer states "we will make every attempt to finish events in one day". However, that does not include making the tables easy :)
 
We now have a computerized draw. All first round matches will be called immediately after the calcutta.
 
We ended up with 51 players and over $6,000 in total payouts.

Please check the Carom Room website for results & player lists in a couple of days.
 
It was a fun tournament. Tables were excellent, nice new balls, food was good.
