Beloit, WI - The Carom Room - $1000 Added - Sept 12 & Sept 26

A firm date has not been established for delivery. Because they wanted the grey (smoke) dymonwood finish it may not be until October. I'll update when more is known.

However, 14 (3 smart & 11 pro-am) bar tables have been ordered and the 50% deposit has been made. The timing now is up to Diamond as far as completing the order and shipping.

Duane,

Have you thought at all about streaming your events? I know BigTruck from AZB was saying he was looking into setting some people up with equipment to do it.

I'm thinking about making the trip down for one of your events. Everyone I talk to that has been to one says they are great tournaments.

Thanks,
Larry

Streaming was talked about briefly in the spring and no decision was made at that time. Our tournament committee will be getting together soon and streaming surely will be discussed.

Glad to hear others had good things to say about the series. If you're going to make a trip then make sure we know who you are in advance if you intend to play in a "no master" event.

St Louis

I am moving to the Lou in less than three weeks. I will still try to make your events though. I know that there were several people from St Louis that made the trek this past year.

Patrick, good luck down south.

There was a group from that area who travelled together to several of the Beloit events last season. Hopefully, they will be back this season and you can join the crowd!

Do you use the BCA Master list? or which other lists do you use?

Master Lists +

Any and all as needed ultimately. We consider the BCAPL list first but have checked VNEA, ACS and state lists. Common sense also comes into play in that known ability speaks for itself. Results are often posted online which can help and phone calls to home areas work nicely if we know someone in the area.

If you are not sure if you are eligible for a "no master" event then please make an effort to contact me or Dave at the Carom Room to verifiy in advance.

It's an easy drive to Beloit from Eau Claire. Area hotels near the pool room on the WI & IL line if needed. All events are scheduled for 1 day except the final events.

In order to complete tourneys in one day we have capped the field at 96 this season. The race as posted on the flyer may be shortened by 1 game if deemed necessary. The final events are not capped and the race will not be shortened and therefore are scheduled for 2 days.

Hope you can make it!

Came close to the 96 a few times in the "no master" events and only exceeded it on Valentine's Day. Calling ahead helps but it takes cash to reserve a spot. You must be present by the end of the calcutta in order to play.

If you check the website you'll see many of last years results posted with numbers.

Anyone coming up from St. Louis?

If anyone is coming up from the St. Louis area for these two tournaments, please shoot me an email. I am hoping to make them both myself.

No Doubt!

Seriously...even in the No Masters events you will see that the field is full of very strong players. I am holding out for the "B" tournament. I am thinking that would be a great event for all of us ranked as "B" players by the BCA. One day...I may be able to improve my game enough to jump up to an "A" ranking....

We'll definitely be heading back up your guys way...it's without a doubt one of the most well run and awesomely paid out tournaments I've ever played in.

We're also hoping to add some knew faces to the group too, although I think we'll be missing the first tournament or so do to a previous commitment to a team tournament.

Oh and Patrick...PM sent!
