Beloit, WI - The Carom Room - $1000+ Added - Sept 25th - "No Masters" 8-Ball

Who wants those last 3 spots for tomorrow?? Possibly a couple more with no shows.

Come and check it out even if you don't play. Food, drink, extra tables, apparel and even cue raffles. Plenty of things to do and matches/action to watch

Since this is a no master's tourney Dave will also be available for all your cue repair needs as well ;)

seriously? I called over an hour before at 1:15pm and donya said it was full. whats going on here?

She would know best since she was working the counter. My info was based on a text to add #94. Dave probably wasn't at the pool room to know about the other two.

With a 96 player field we seem to always have a few players who cancel for one reason or another. The first few paid entries on the waiting list have always gotten in the tourney.

The tourney is full right now. Taking spots on the paid waiting list.

Just my opinion sir. I myself have never placed in an open no handicap tourney of Dave's. Larry Nevel destroyed me in the last open tourney he was in by the way.

Duly noted.

I seem to place about twice a season but feel I should be no master's eligible. That hasn't happened yet

I'll let Dave know about you losing to LN so he doesn't ruin your calcutta action ;)

Used 10 people off the waiting list to keep the field full at 96

$1500 added with 96 players and $4470 in the calcutta for a total of $8370 in payouts.

Final 16 plus two more from slow brackets coming back tomorrow at noon.

Down to the final 8 players!

winners side:

Matt Daiber vs Jason Krueger

1-loss side:

Greg Chavera vs Dave Niksich winner plays John Ribbich

Jack Wu vs Tony Gong winner plays Marlon Angeles

I would have to say Greg probably comes back and wins it all. :D

3rd place goes to Greg Chavera

Daiber vs Krueger for the big cheese, race to 5, second set to 4 if needed

Check the Carom Room website www.thecaromroom.com for complete results, player lists and payouts. I would expect them to be posted Monday evening or Tuesday ;)
