Just to clarify, it must be Mechanicsburg, which is between Carlisle and Harrisburg. Mechanicsville is in Va.

Hi Bernie, I'm doing the drills from these 4 Bert kinister videos:

Volume 35 "THE SHORT GAME" = Step One
Volume 36 "THE MIDDLE GAME" = Step Two
Volume 37 "THE LONG GAME" = Step Three
Volume 38 "PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER" = Step Four

I practice them 5 days a week about 15 hrs. total. I'm running out the short drills regularily and improving substancially on the other drills each session. There's 100's of varations setting up the balls in these drills. He claims it will improve ones game a minimal of 25% after 2 months. He could be right.I'll keep you posted. If I lived in that part of Pa. or was within a couple of hours driving distance from his room, I'd be making regular excursions for lessons with him. You can NEVER get so good or think you're that good to not learn more or have someone that really knows the game watch you for awhile to see that you haven't gotten into any bad habits, even when you're playing great. I only have the "60 minute workout", "The Mighty X", and the "Deflection Tape" and they're all good. I think every new, as well as serious pool player out there should have the "60 minute workout".
I think I'll look into the tapes you mentioned, it's time to blow accumulated dust off of my brain and get reenergized with some new ideas.

Hey Timberly,

I didn't know you hung around this forum. Did you get home OK from NC a coouple of weeks ago?

Mike

I finally made my way to the forum and this was my first post. The trip went well enough. Always got SC on my mind... might even try to move back... possibly at the end of the summer. I'll be down later for vacation.

Anyone coming through PA should stop by and meet Bert if you haven't already. He's quite a character! There's quite a few locals that have enlisted his help on things. I'm fortunate enough that when I go in there he knocks 'em around with me as long as I feel like playing. Of course I don't get his real game because it would defeat the purpose of my trying to shoot. He's given me some pointers and helped me out along the way. Helluva guy and very knowledgeable of the game, as those of you with his vidoes already know.
