best advise from an instructional tape

what was the best advise that you got fron any instructional tape or dvds that helped you achieve better mechanics !

i'm talking about instructionals from the pros!

mike segal
jimmy reid
danny basavich, etc.


this means >stance, stroke,preshot,etc.

what helped in these tapes !

He is not a Pro but he has made many pool videos, his name is Bert Kinister. In probably his best one, The 60 Minute 9 Ball Workout" he says at the very beginning, "I don't care who you are you are hitting the ball too hard"
 
The other advice from one of Bert's tapes is to find your natural stroke alignment and practice shooting one handed. Everyone is built different and everyone has their own alignment, by letting your arm swing into it's natural position your find your alignment. Very simple.

That's interesting, because I have always found shooting one handed as a really good way to get in stroke.
