What's the best alternative/substitute compared to Ivory in both: playability and look!??

I use some atlas mp ivory sub tube I bought a few years ago. Ive heard its not the same as what I have anymore? Heres a pic of a joint with it.Theres no finish on the joint in the pic. The stuff I have finishes off very close to the look of Ivory...........Dave

For playability I think that deer antler plays just as good as Ivory & is stronger...JER
 
looking for pure white?

what is the best product for pure white in color?..i just bought a pure white joint/butt cap cue and it looks great...i would like to have a cue with white ring work and matching butt cap/joint.....just wondering what type of material is the best for this look...thanks, joe
 
Ivory substitute

I use Camel bone from Chris Hightower. It looks great and has the feel and works like ivory. Its legal and considerably cheaper than elforyn or ivory. It also smells like ivory when you work it. Try it. Its quite nice.
