Best Billiards LV

Every time I visit Las Vegas I make sure to have an afternoon free to spend at Best Billiards. Great room and the people have always been very attentive and friendly.

Glad to hear it's still open...and even Gladder to hear the restaurant is still serving. Great Italian food. Honestly, if it was my business I'd get rid of the pool tables and focus on the restaurant :grin-square:, but I'm glad they don't.

Important to me is that it's right on the busline from the big hotels where I usually stay (you can catch a taxi going there, but you could grow old waiting for one for your return trip).

But thanks for the heads-up: next time I'm there I'll watch out for someone throwing a ball washer at me...or 'sumpin.

I've been to Vegas a few times in the last few years for work..

Played at Best Billiards both times.. Played with Max Eberle both times.. The place is a player's hall, with a ridiculously tight Diamond that Max practices on.

Fantastic authentic Italian food, if they still serve it.

I don't much care about all the other stuff. Pool players in general are @sshats, and want something for nothing every chance they can get it. I can easily imagine a room owner trying to do the right thing and some clown thinks he can get a better deal by threatening to complain "on the internet".

Though this is not the right place for this advertisement, I wholeheartedly give me endorsement to this business. Really nice owner, from when I was there.

How about that... I was there w/ Max about 3 weeks back, and bangin 1P around w/ Mr Fred Boggs... (I mean bangin them into the rails... tryin my best to live up to my C- player reputation :-)..). 'Best' place in LV imo... Other 'main places' to play were dirty as hell. Coffee was the best as well... Thanks Max for the reference. I'll be back at the end of the summer for sure.

Ball washer story?

I see people posting about rooms here all the time. What would be the correct forum to post this in? Please don't misunderstand me, I'm not challenging anyone or anything like that, I really don't know, where would you post type of post?
The ball washer story sounds interesting, like one of those things that make pool colorful, like the one about the fight at, was it SBE a couple of years ago, or the challenge of champions Mike LeBron story. I totally missed the ball washer story.
