Best book?

If you had to choose one book about pool which one would it be?

Modern Pool by Ralf Eckhart....Best pool book om the market. You can buy a digital copy in the google playstore for around $8.00

It goes over training like the Europeans do it. Speed Control, kicking system, drills, strategy...etc. etc. This book has it all. If you do the program in the book you're guarenteed to improve.

A big surprise to me is that Dr. Dave's book, The Illustrated Principles of Pool and Billiards was not mentioned!
I'll add his name

Dr. David G. Alciatore, PhD
to
Robert Byrne, and
Phil Chapelle

Those authors are for instructional books.
For humor and history there are other authors, although Byrne has written some in those fields. His serious writings did have some dry wit, which made his instructional books a good read anytime.

George Fels book, great book, still have my copy. Want to get another copy. Not a book for learning the basics, but excellent for strategy and positioning.

I got my second copy at a church yard sale, of all places. George sent me my first one, signed and dated, after I asked him about it through the old Billiard News. The first has been read and re-read many, many times.
