Its me again- I'm all rookie here- no arguing that but. Barges-? wood glues, I understand how cue makers love perfection. Had a out of town customer- pick up his Kanaka Creek Cue. Seam showed a tiny bit and even though I used light brown shoe polish on the seam. I know it was there!! We told the customer play with it (show people seam side down!!) The leather wrap order is coming in 1wk.(alligator) bring it back It'll get done immed. and I'll shape the tip for ya ,clean the shaft re wax the cue. Barges was used on this 1- with actone to strip it,remove old wrap. So 2 questions

(which Glue and which leather seller. ) We have Berman buckskin here - but I have yet to see a boar skin leather Jacket, buffalo ,or Sharkskin. Thanks in advance again. Its just silly to order leather 3-4 at a time. mark

Wow look at the diff- High quality leather here.

I like the template idea- I can already see a sectional Handle with multiple leathers . maybe leather points, how about leather inlays too. Heck, even leather on a hoppe style butt too! mark

elmers works great ,, dries faster than you would think ,,mix it about 70/30 with water ,, adds enough moisture to the leather that is will
" stretch out " nice

i could visualize some exotic leathers making some cool inlays if done right

but remember points are a great way of laminating in additional woodes for structural integrity ,,

I sell a wide selection of Embossed as well as Exotic leather wraps and I guarantee all my wraps for complete customer satisfaction. (refund or exchange)

I use contact cement and have had great success with it. You can buy it at any hardware store.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to PM, email, or call me directly.
