Best Hitting Cues Survey - Please Reply

In no particular order
Larry miller, Rick Howard, ray mutter, Carter, wane Robinson just the one I like

I see we have a smart man here.....I couldnt agree more that Sugartree would be the top of the list.......once a man goes sugar tree he nevers goes any where else :D :D :D ......to me the hit is unmatched in the cue industry.....and of course that is just IMHO :D

I look back at it, and I couldnt even classify myself as a pool player.... until I got my sugartree   :D :D

I am a South West cue man converted to a Sugar Tree. I am so glad I finally gave Sugar Tree a try. Believe the hype people. The proof is in the pudding.

:)best hitting searing,tascarella/gus/capone,any searing, joint dosent matter/theres searing and then there, asre the rest!!!!

There are so many variables the tip being an important one. For a big part of it I think the player makes the cue not the cue making the player. I have owned and played with a Gus, a Barry, a Searing, a Rauezahn
a Gina, a Schick, a Kiekel, a John Bender, two Mike Benders, 3 Perry Westons, and an Eddie Farris. this is over a span of more years than i care to admit and i shot with the Gus the longest 19 yrs and it was as straight after that time as the day i got it. I have only experianced the play of one each cue by these Master Craftsman ie Artist except for the Mike Bender and Perry Weston's. I will say that both the Westons and Benders were consistant between the cues built by the gentleman. I can also state that if my game was up to it that not a cue listed above was unable to perform. Of all of these I will go out on a limb and state that i feel the Searing and the Schick both had hits that i grew to favor were they heads above the others.............NO.

I would galdly play pool with a cue by any of the above craftsman and if i failed id have a hard time convincing anyone and myself that it was the cue and not the shooter that was at fault.

Sometimes, I think an OB shaft could make a Player's cue hit great.

Cue

I would have to go with
1st-tascarella
2nd is a toss up between mottey and josswest
many others play very well but these three are my choices

best playing cue

I have had hundreds of cues over the last few years some high end some
low end. A question you have to ask your self is how can you determine
which cue is the best hitting cue you have. I am very mindful that I'm not
the only one that has a few cues to pick from. Out of the stack you have
got to have more than one or two or even eight or ten that hit very good.
Said all that to say this, the way I pick the best hitting is the cue I don't
want to lay down. Here is the specks on my best hitting cue weight 18.40
13mm shaft ballance point 17.50 inches from end of rubber bumper.
No matter which cue I am playing with after a few racks I am reaching
for my nick varner cue. To answer the question at hand is my nick varner
cue. I like it so good had to add a pic. Take care, johnQBS
