Jumping Cue is Tool, Practice is what make Jump Cue Work.

Any jump cue with the right nut behind the butt can accomplish a jump shot from a ball width away.

There is no best, only the one you are most comfortable with to get the job done for your particular needs.

We used to use just a shaft to jump (dart style) - very effective, but too short for the rules.

Something wrong, What does that mean????

Jump with overhand dart.
Allows you to hack up higher.
Allows you to jump much further out onto the table field.
You can jump with a bridge even further out.
Can jump with follow to do jump/multirail kicks to hit stuff most players never dreamed of.
Can aim better because just like a usual shot, you are aiming down the shaft.

Lots of good cues for jumping....predator air is my choice. Can jump from an inch or so back.

McDermott trick shot cue Dr. Popper....can jump from a centimeter away, hard to jump too far down table.
