Best Non-laminated tip?

How many tips do you go through in a year? You "just started back" playing pool. Is your "tech" not able to spot good from bad? Have you asked him how HE installs them and how long HE presses for? And you're truly confident you can tell one tip from another in terms of good or bad and all this to say you've got a personal read on Triangle and Lepro?

You don't make sense, your stories never line up.

Good luck.
Same guy thought a woodworking lathe was suitable for tips. I'd bet pretty good he wouldn't know a pressed tip from pressed duck. ;)

I obviously don’t speak your native language there Tonto. Were in what I posted did I say I had a personal read on any tip. I try to type slowly and use small words but for some reason you keep getting lost. I never said I had a personal read on any tip. Let me try this again for you. Yes i just started playing a couple of years ago again from the 20 plus years I played and won tournaments . The guy who does my work has been doing tips for 30 plus years. He was my go to back when I was winning tournaments. He knows how to install a tip. The Triangle tips went thru some manufacturers errors as has been discussed here before. Quality issues. Some look fine and shape fine but play like crap. If the installed tip plays good and takes English good then you are set. But sometimes that is hard to tell by looking at it. It may look
Like a good tip but may not play like one. I have to wait until I get back home to try out to see what the hit is like. All I said about Le Pro tips is that back in the 80/90’s they were really good. Does not seem to be the case now. If this is still to much for you to process than I don’t know what else to say. I cannot take it any slower. For the record I usually get about 1 year or so out of a tip if I keep said cue. Sometimes I trade or sell to get another. Again just trying to figure out were I said I had a personal read on any tip. I have never pressed a tip nor has my installer. Our area is not in demand for such.
