Best Tip Cutting Tool ?

I am looking for a good tool for cutting new 14mm tips down to the 12's so the cut is flush with the ferrule. I was thinking of buying Porper's Big Shaver (7200). Is the Big Shaver a great tool or is there a better tool out there for under $100?

I purchased Porper’s Cue-Rite and Mushroom Grazer. The tools are ok but do not work well cutting down the new Sniper tips. the plastic bottom on the tip is hard to cut through with the Mushroom Grazer and the Cue-Rite does not cut down far enough to the ferrule.

If you'r talking about the black layer on the glue side, I think that has to be sanded off, before glueing. It seems to be a sealer coat of paint or something, but not plastic. At least that is what I do...JER

The Big Shaver works okay, but you have to use it carefully otherwise you will leave indentations on the shaft. Also, it doesn't work well for tips under 12.5 mm; I've always had trouble with smaller tips using it. It doesn't cut the tip flush with the ferrule when the shaft diameter is thinner. I don't really like it all that much, but I haven't found anything else that works well short of a lathe.
