Best tip for an OB Plus Classic?

Hi guy, it's me again. I've pretty much decided on an OB Plus Classic after trying them out at my local cue shop. Quick question though, on my current Prather cue with a conventional maple shaft I'm running Kamui Clear Black Super Soft and I absolutely love the hit, the way the ball reacts to it and all. So my question would be, would you recommend me to use the same tip I've been using? Or should I go with something harder? Thanks in advance guys!!

If you do, it wouldn't hurt to try milkduds. I would say they are medium, maybe medium hard as time goes on. I use these on my OB pro shafts. It compliments the firm and crisp hit of the classic/classic pro/ pro + that I want versus the OB1 and OB 2.

I like the Kamui black soft tips. I ordered an extra shaft a couple months ago and they were suppose to put on the Kamui black soft. When I got my shaft, I noticed they put on a clear soft. I was originally upset, but I can't notice much difference between tips. If you move up to the Kamui black soft, I think you'll like it. My brother in law has the medium and wants to replace it with the soft.

Are you using an OB+ Classic shaft as well? Quick question though, on harder shots with more English, how do you compensate? By just aiming about an additional half and inch? Or do you use FHE? Or BHE? Just curious.

Ultraskin Medium for a 12.75mm OB
Ultraskin Hard for an 11.75mm OB

I'm using the Jacoby Edge. Which is my first low deflection shaft and I like it. I'm not sure what you mean by fhe or bhe. I believe everyone will aim to compensate differently using English, depending on how your stroke is. I don't use no aiming systems and don't really care about low deflection shafts. If I have any difficulties with a particular shot, I'll spend an evening shooting that shot until I nail it. Changing tips and equipment out constantly isn't going to make you any better. If you like the feel of the equipment your using, stick with it and practice. I'm much better explaining things in person, than putting it into words. Sorry if that wasn't much help.

FHE and BHE refers to Front Hand English and Back Hand English respectively. It's an aim-and-pivot method. You can google it. Thanks though!

OB classic + shafts use a hard LBM ferrule, so going for a harder tip will only make the hit feel harder.
Going for a Kamui soft instead of super soft, will give you less change over time as the super soft's doesn't stay super soft for very long...
I prefer the Original tips over the Black tips, as they hold chalk alot better.

Yes of course.
If you like the tip that's where you want to start with the new shaft then go from there...

stay with the kamui clear black ss! that's what i use too and use to have it on the same OB shadt you have. you''ll love it. resist the urge to keep changing stuff
