Many pros and amateurs, for pre game practice, usually just throw the balls out and run them in order.
What is your warm up routine before a match?
Are there better shots or maybe a short drill to set up to help adjust to the speed of the new table quicker?

I like to go through a banking drill, just banking shooting balls one rail so I can judge how much running English is needed to hit dead center of pocket.

Then I practice follow shots to see how fast the table is.

Then I practice draw shots to see how sticky the table is.

Then I set up a few ov my favorite drills.

I use the Tor Lowry "Zero-X" kicking system. Included in my practice drills to adjust to the table, I will shoot a kick shot off each rail to see if each rail is responding ON, or Short, or Long. Then put that to memory.

Got it. Thanks guys.
Played at friends the other night. We both have Diamonds with 860. But his is a 7' and mine is a 9'.
That 7' seemed SUPER fast! Probably because it's shorter it just seems that way..?
Also, his cloth was very worn.

2 Tournaments next month on the B. Box.
