A bug zapper, and screens on the windows and doors. If that don't work, then friends that are kind to the wildlife. Or try some woolite' mixed with hot...HOT water, with a clean rag wrung out "tight" then scrub the bug guts out of the cloth:thumbup:

A few months ago RKC sent me a PM on Simonis cloth cleaning and cloth cleaning in general. I now use his methods and I am a believer. A white micro fleece towel dipped in the hot water and woolite works well. The only thing I might add is a real stubborn stain may require more then one application. Which I think is better then an aggressive scrubbing of the cloth. After I use his cloth cleaning methods I leave the table light on and turn on a fan that sits about 6' away on and the cloth dries quickly.
For what ever reason Simonis won't step up and offer suggestions, they say to talk to your dry cleaner business. Maybe because Simonis is mostly wool. But seriously, how many take their cloth to the cleaners?

Your local dry cleaners can give/sell you some dry cleaning fluid. Take your own small jar since their's comes in five gallon jugs. Same procedure as RKC's: white microfiber cloth (or cotten terrycloth), dampen a corner of the cloth, wring it out and press on the spot. Change the area of the cloth used with every press, otherwise you're reapplying the stain you just removed.
As always, try a test spot first. Let the test spot dry completely before you judge whether or not to "go live."

First thing I would try would be a bit of the friend's blood on a microfiber rag.

I'm surprised fresh club soda hasn't been brought up. Rub it in good, then blow dry it. I've seen that take out some nasty table cloth stains. Depending on the bug, of course, your mileage may vary.
