When given the opportunity to purchase a 10 ft billiard or Snooker table just about everyone passes. Depending on what your after there are several options but I have found the easiest way to do this in the following:
Purchase let's say a 10 ft centennial cheap. 1500
Then buy a Sportking for next to the nothing
Cut the outside frame on the 10 ft table and now the frame is killer strong as the lip is much shorter
You have the top from the sportking, rails and castings fit fine. Cut one end of the blinds 5 cuts
And attach aprons with blocks and screws
Very easy. Now you have your centennial with a awesome frame. Knock out supports and you can add 4 x 4's. I do this alot on gold crowns. Then if needed you cam drill out slate and add middle screws to anchor slate better and bring down a crown if needed
