Best way to move a Valley bar box about 50 miles?

Get someone else to do it!
I moved an 8'er once.
That was enough for me.
The guys busted their balls moving my 9'er in!

I had one in my basement.

I had to pull 3 sides off the box to get it upstairs...then rebuild it ...
Anything is possible

I moved a valley 500 miles two years ago. Its easy with 4 people (I used the seller and his 2 sons). First, remove the aluminum panels to get to the rail bolts. Remove the rail bolts, pull out the rails, then lift the slate with 4 people and set it aside. Then lift the box into a trailer (get a covered uhaul). Then grab the slate and put it back in the box. Put the rails back on again. Strap it all in place with your tie-downs. Off you go. Get 3 other friends to do the same thing when you get home. It wasn't too tough.
