best way to store layered cue tips?????

i bought several g2 for my personal use
enough for several years based on the frequency i change tips
does the leather if not installed on a tip need any special storage
if this is a stupid question i apologize

Vacuum sealed bag or actual name brand Ziploc. Something that is airtight.

Will keep them pleasant to use.
