i have been playing my best game all weekend on my 8' table and went to league last night for 9 ball and beat myself. i couldnt seem to get into the zone. i was missing shots that i would miss once out of a hundred. afterwards we went to a pool hall to play on 9' tables. my game instantly came back and i played my best. i dont think the cloths had anything to do with it, it just seems im more accurate lately on a bigger table. i am going to the apa singles national next week and need to get my game back fast. i decided this weekend ill wont use my table much and will go to the bars for practice. but am i missing something mental here or should i chalk it up to the balls rolling funny for the night?
ps...it wasnt a pressure thing that had me off, i knew before we started that i could easily beat my opponent and the match meant absolutely nothing (we started the team late in the session and recruited all new players). decided from the get go that this session was a practice session for all of us.
