One good recommended company that does that would be Proficient Billiards and Pennsylvania.

Yes! Just request escrow through Proficient. If the seller isn’t willing to go that route, then you’ve likely dodged a bullet.

How do you avoid it. I experienced the same thing. At some point and time you have to share your contact in in a pm. T i did just this and the next thing i know someone tells me they are someone here that they are not. However they wouldn't use pay pal good and services or go thru
a broker so i figured they were scam. They just kept coming after that with different phone numbers from different parts of the country. i answered their text and told them i was the local police, it all stopped
my question is how do they get our info that iwe send to a reputable members here in a pm . I'm getting the feeling this site is not secure and others can see our emails here

There are many reputable seller in the forum. If you needed help, you can always contact admin or moderator for question. Get into habit video live chat on every transaction or else ask a reputable seller or admin to be your consignment or help you to finish the transaction.

I posted a reply to a cue for sale. The Seller will remain nameless as he was legit after talking to him on the phone.

I made an offer in the reply, and got an email asking if I was the one that was interested and he would take the offer. Great! We emailed back and forth a few times and then when it came to arranging payment he gave me an email for a different email and name.

I reached out to the original seller, went to his webpage and called, and the emails i was getting were not from him! Please be careful. There should be now way that members of this group should have been able to get my email address, that just opens people up to getting scammed.

I've only shared my phone number in pm 's here some scammer is somehow seeing all the messages i'm getting calls from people that cant speak english wanting to sell me cues, said they got my number from azb. Is it possible that google is picking up out pm's here and we are not safe

no, you put it out somewhere. people aren't seeing your pm's here on AZ. You gave someone your # who put it out for all to see, either on here or on-line. i only give my email or ph.# to people i know well. i've been on here for AGES and not ONE scam has ever been tried on me and not one phone call from some unknown nit. if you think something is going you need to CONTACT A MODERATOR before you start slinging unfounded bullshit.

Go find my number in a post, prove me wrong before you run your mouth. you are just another keyboard warrior looking to start and argument

As a moderator, even I can not see private messages. No way bots would have access to this information either. I'd either look at the one(s) you've exchanged your number with or maybe you inadvertently gave it out somewhere...but there's no way it came from within.
