We had a great 7 years here but the economy killed us!! Thanks to all who supported us!!

The business is a 100% turn key operation and could be great for the right person? Someone just like us who might have a dream and extra time???

Someone who might turn this place around, maybe have alcohol or just a different idea?

Im leaving the tables all together for buyers to see the entire place still set up. I think it will give buyers a good look at how it always looked. Anyone interested should contact me asap as I will be breaking down all tables in 1-1/2 week. There is plenty of parking and right off the main hwys. The room has always had 5 stars!! So the reputation is great! Nice mixture of equipment so call me for an appointment.

This sale is by appointment ONLY.

Call - Rick Molineiro 410-302-4010.

I hope you get a buyer like the one you describe; I'd hate to see another good pool room close down for good.

Best of luck in all your future endeavors, Rick.

I agree with Andrew, like many of the folks who have come to pass through Rick and Cindy's house over the years surely will.

Big daddy's is one of the best pool rooms in an area that has a strong place in the history of pool.

To echo Andrew, best of luck with whatever you and Cindy choose to do next, rick.

Cal you have a beverage license? Where is this place by the way?

It would seem elementary to state where the room is (approximately), for prospective investors/proprietors vaguely familiar with the room's name, but not its location. Folks perhaps wishing to relocate to a more interesting environment, and willing to profitably challenge the bad economy via inventive billiards marketing ideas they may have.

I'm guessing from the area code it's in the Baltimore region.

I agree that optimally, the address would be stated.

But this would not be an impulse purchase, thereby there would be no real negative effects from the omission,

Big daddy's is in glen burnie, md...a suburb of Baltimore, east and south of the city proper, and ez access for the highway with plenty of parking, I'll add.

They are on Facebook: Big daddy`s billiards LLC
Adress: 7954 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd Ste 2G, Glen Burnie, Maryland

Aww man......another room in MD going out. Thanks for all the memories and tournaments. Hope someone can buy the place.

It is a shame to lose this one, for sure.

I have never been close enough to be a 'regular', but I have prob been there 50x.

I loved that the the focus there was pool, pool and more pool. Not that I don't love me some damn beers, but there is something I like just as much about a pool room with nothing but pool and some unobtrusive music in the air.

sorry for your loss but maybe you need to learn some marketing skills if you cant even include where the room is in your for sale ad.
do you think people dont care where they move to to buy a failed business.

try doing some marketing research and apply it to your business and maybe you can turn it around or take in a partner that has some business acumen.

good luck to you.

Again, that is silly.

Anyone who is a real potential buyer is going to perform his due diligence and figuring out where the business is will be child's play, compared to the rest of the analyses.

I was doing some reading and it looks like that place Whispers that is right in the same center changed hands about a year ago. It says it was turned into a sports bar. If you don't have a beverage license are they part of the reason you are going out of business?

if it's turnkey, low sale price, and low maint/overhead.....there could be serious potential

always is imo with failed businesses that were mismanaged and yet survived for a period of time

You guys had a great 9ball tourney there on Tuesday that I frequented. Sucks to see another MD room closing...

I asked him where it was but right after I just looked up the area code. They do have a facebook page but there is little there a few pictures that don't really show the room. This brings us to why a business does not have a website dedicated to their business. It is the greatest business card ever invented.
I would hate to think they don't because they don't want to spend maybe $60.00 a year for the web host.

Big Daddy's Billiards,llc.

I wrote a very quick note yesterday about selling my business. We were... going to keep it going until the end of the month but, decided just yesterday to just be done with it. So that is one reason that the post was so incomplete. Sorry it didn't please you? It's a very stressful time for us because this was my dream....the economy killed us. People are just not spending money? I think if alcohol was involved it might have made a difference? Not sure? We didn't want to get involved in all that. Like I said ....there could be someone out there that also has a dream that might turn it around? I have some interest from two people already so maybe it might re-open?

Just because I didn't make it don't mean someone else can't make it work? Well see?

We were doing really well a couple of years ago...so I knocked down a wall and added on. And made it a real pool-hall! But unfortunately 6 months later the economy went south!! It wound up being the worst mistake I made? But who knew?

Anyway it could work for someone else maybe?

I'm taking appointments so if anyone is interested please call me at 410-302-4010

Thanks, Richard Molineiro.

PS- Thanks to everyone that supported us through the years!!!
