Corey misses the 1 in the side after breaking in game 2. Orcullo runs out to tie it up 1-1.

Orcullo breaks dry in game 3. Corey pushes out, trying to tie up the 2 and 8, but misses the 2 entirely, leaving a long straight-in shot for Orcullo.

Orcullo misses the 1 and leaves an open table for Corey.

Corey takes advantage and runs out, going up 2-1.

Corey breaks dry, and Orcullo plays a beautiful safety locking the cueball up behind the 3.

Corey kicks 3 cushions just behind the 1, nearly making the 1 and hanging it in front of the corner pocket, but Orcullo is blocked and tries a masse between two balls, just missing the 1.

Corey runs down to the 7 and misses using the bridge. Orcullo runs out to tie it up at 2-2. Big missed opportunity by Corey.

What a shot.

Dennis 3 rail kick the 3-ball into the side pocket. Then runs out.

4-2 Dennis

Corey makes the 7 on the break, runs to the 3 but bumps the 10 getting there, leaving a decent cross-side bank. Corey misses the cross-eyed bank (probably because he shot it cross-eyed), but leaves only a kick on the 3.

Orcullo kicks 3 cushions behind the 3 and makes it dead in the side, with a shot on the 4.

Orcullo runs out to go up 4-2.

Another dry break from Dennis. Corey makes the 1, but misses a 2-6 combination. Dennis runs out again, to go up 5-2.

Some big opportunities early in the match missed by Corey. It's gonna be very tough to come back now.

Dry break from Corey in game 8. With no path to the 2 Dennis plays safe on the 1. Corey misses a long-rail bank on the 1, leaves a shot.

With some clutter on the table Dennis tries to break up the 6 and 8 while pocketing the 3, but is unable to hit the 8. He plays safe on the 5.

Corey can see the 5, but plays a bad safety, leaving only an off-angle 5-10 combo, which Dennis elects to shoot because the 6-8 and 7-9 are still tied up.

Safety battle on the 6.

Corey kicks and hits the 6, leaving a 6-8 combination. Dennis makes the 6-8 combo, and then the 6, but can't break open the 7-9. Dennis plays safe and leaves a tough back-cut on the 7, which Corey makes!

Corey then misses a pretty routine 9-ball, though, and Dennis goes up 6-2.

Corey makes 2 balls on the break, but is a long way from the 1. He tries the thin cut on the 1, and misses.

Dennis misses the 1, but the cueball comes down and cuts the 10 in the corner.

8-2 Dennis.

Deueling safeties on the 1-ball lead to cross-corner bank from Corey. He gets out of line on the 3 and hangs it in the corner pocket. Dennis kicks and hits the 3, but it doesn't go in! With the cueball and the 3 both in the jaws of the pocket, Corey tries to masse-draw back into the 3, but loses the cueball.

Dennis runs out to go up 9-2.

With a 9-3 lead Dennis takes a flyer on the 2-ball, misses and sells out.

Corey runs out to make it 9-4.

Very nice safety on the 2 from Corey, leaving the 2 and the cueball at opposite ends of the table near the middle diamonds.

Corey gets out to make it 9-5.

Corey fouls on the 1-ball, leaves an open table. Dennis runs out to get on the hill, 10-5.
