Bill & Billie's Cuesport, Maryland...is no more!

Bryan,
Why does it matter? The one bad thing about forums is that people put way too personal of information out for the pool world to see, that should never see the light of day. It is obvious there was an issue between the two of them, why add fuel to the fire?

Thanks for your opinion. If Randy doesn't want to discuss, that's his call. he seems to enjoy this guy misfortune and I was wondering why. Did he spit in his coffee, chastize him for sitting on a table, pissed off cause he couldn't get twenty pizzas delivered there? This is a message board where people discuss things, possibly things that you may not care for.

You are correct, this is my opinion only. I have been a part of the message board for many years and I am very aware of what is discussed - many of which I do not care for, but I think when things hit a little closer to home, it becomes more personal. Since moving here a few months ago, I have enjoyed the room as it is geared more for players. It is even more disheartening to have someone such as Randy laughing at the situation, much less open up the can of worms as to why, that was why I said what I did. I suppose human nature is to want to watch the train crash

First of all, richie, its not class, its called karma. IMO, he is getting EXACTLY what he deserved. And yes, with it comes a certain amount of satisfaction for me. So I say, ha, ha!

Randy, I just hope and pray that I am not standing next to you, when karma delivers exactly what you deserve.

As far as my incident, it had nothing to do with him not kissing my @ss. Ask jeanette lee how she and her family were treated there that day, and if she would go back. Also ask danny Barouti.

The truth is, your incident was exactly about this owner not kissing your @ss. You expected special treatment, and you didn't get it.
I was also told, from a very good source, exactly how Jeanette and her family were treated. I was also told that any misunderstandings were cleared up, prior to her leaving, and she would go back to that room.
I don't know about Danny Barouti's situation, but I'm sure I could find out, if I cared to.

In fact, the honorable peter borroughs couldnt stand the guy. I was approached after the "incident" about buying the place, just to get it back in the hands of the regulars, who couldnt stand this guy.

Peter Borroughs must not dislike the guy too much, or he hides it well. He has run his straight pool league in this room for a few years, at least, and the room owner has not only supported the league, but he has also supported the state tournament, run by Mr. Borroughs.
BTW, how would the act of YOU buying the pool room put it "back in the hands of the regulars"? You are neither an area resident nor a regular. The only reason you were even there was because this room owner was supporting a qualifier for your tournament. We all see how you show your gratitude to him.

Excuse me, while I go lmao now.

You claim to be a supporter of pool. However, you take pleasure in the fact that a great pool room is closed. This, after the room owner supported a qualifier for your trumped up "World Championship" tournament. IMHO, you have no class at all and you prove it every time you make an entry on this forum.
You'll have to excuse me, if I don't respond to you again, which I'm sure will also give you joy. You make me ill.

How depressing :( I haven't spent a great deal of time at Bill & Billies over the last couple of years but it is a special place to me that holds many fond memories.

Once upon a time when Carrie and I were VERY young (18 or so) we would track on out to B&B's and play 9ball on the snooker table. For those of you who don't know us. . neither one of us is above 5'2" without shoes so racking the balls was a feat in itself. We'd come strolling in around 3 am or so after working our shift at Champions and the houseman would always look at us strangely. We'd also get quite a few unwelcomed looks from our almost obscene giggling. *sigh* good times. . .

It also holds a dear place in my heart as I spent many an evening there playing Road Runner with Pops. meep meep peeeerong! Oh I miss that laugh!

As with USA closing now poses the question where does one go to hit a few balls? Are there any poolhalls left in this vacinity that take care of their tables. . that are safe to travel to?

I suppose it's a good thing I'm not in the scene much anymore or this surely would have come as a harder hit.
