i like how they are displayed sitting on rocks and how it really brings out the intense situation you were under to display these cues to the audience who probably cringed seeing this ... any consideration buying these is a hard no considering the environment of which they are displayed ..
 
I think the photos are great actually, better than most on this site. The contrast of the wood used in the cue against the grey background really brings out the vivid colors. Placing the cue and shafts on the ground for a few minutes is not going to result in scratches or harm the cue. They clearly have joint protectors and a rubber bumper. Your comments are completely unnecessary-I don’t need your advice on photography.
