I'm looking to move this McDaniel Q97, which is also known as the Kun-Fang Lee cue. Attached are some additional photos of the cue. The dealer cost on the cue 2 years ago was $3,000.00. It has 16 solid ivory points and enough inlays to kill a horse. The cue has never been chalked and comes with matching ivory joint protectors. If you do a google search using the terms "Kun-Fang Lee cue" or "Q97," you will see that cueaddicts has the only other cue like this for sale. Cueaddicts wants $4,250.00 for its Q97, which has slightly better rings and a black leather wrap. I'm a seller at $3,000.00 delivered by FedEx Express 2nd day air with $3,000.00 of insurance.

Hey Mike, we just sold ours for $2450...if you consider a price match, I may have a buyer for you. :) ;) If memory serves me correctly, their new retail price listed in the book for this cue is over $7000 !! Whatever it is, that's a great deal and Bill didn't make many of this cue.

Sean:

If Cueaddicts truly sold its Q97 for just $2,450.00 after having it listed at $4,250.00 for more than a year, it gave the cue away. I'd purchase 10 at that price. By the way, how come cueaddicts' website does not show the cue as having been sold?

Well spoken,Mike.
I asked Sean a couple of Month ago for this Cue and he say not more than 10% Discount from 4250.

Really

Is it true alot of Bill's cues were wholesaled at 50%? Maybe he was cleaning house for retirement!
Nick :)

Some people are in the loop more than others think they are. Mcdaniel cues have always been tough to move and I heard the 50% to his normal buyers was true just before he retired. His work is great but he was knocking them out like whoppers at burger king, cant be great for collectors. I contacted Sean about 2 months ago about this cue being discussed and almost jumped on it at 2500 which is what he was offering it at so the price was probaly close to the 2450 as mentioned. Mcdaniel cues are very nice cnc loaded cues but there kinda like phillippi cues.Retail for 7000 but onsale for 2250 cash! Anyone ever try getting even close to retail on one of them:D How many times have we seen Dave on ebay listing some of those Mcdaniels? Months ands Months and zero bids. I think Sean knows what he got for his:p

Hello this is Dave on ebay aka sactodave, aka dacue. I consider Bill Mcdaniel a friend and I will come to his side when people start saying untrue things about him or is cues. He truley is a great guy!
It is true I have had a few of Bill Mcdaniel Cues not sell on ebay. I have turned down some very nice offers because, I will not wholesale:mad: his cues, it would damage the price of other Mcdaniel cues:mad: . But I can also say I have sold over 150 of Bill Mcdaniel Cues, on ebay and through other venues. Bill made a great product, he (Bill) did'nt market them very well. I still have 12 Mcdaniel cues in my collection, and I'am glad to have them. :) The price has on this Q97 is a great price.

I sold the one I had for 2650 or 2850 really can't remember. Was one of the best playing cues I've ever owned. Cue had awsome shafts super dense.

Truthfully

I think the Macdanials cues hit very solid!
Nice cue
Nick :)
Hay Dacue sell me something !!

Bump for this beautiful cue and great price!! I think 3k is a great bargain for this beautiful cue.

Sean, if your Q97 still for sale at $2450?? Your website shows it is still available...??

Anybody who has ever purchased a cue from me knows that I move cues for rock bottom prices, including two of the people who posted to this thread. Needless to say, the cue was sold and shipped this morning for my full asking price of $3,000.00, which I believe was a gift. The cue sold for $3,000.00 in less than 14 hours on AZB. Now, how hard is it to sell Bill McDaniel cues?

I think McDaniel cues play very well. I owned one and I loved the way it played and I sold it to get a fancier cue from Bill, but that deal didn't turn out too well.

I owned now three Mc Daniel Cues and all hits very well, I owned many Cues and play also with many others, but the Best are my Mac's.
You can't get wrong with Bill's Cues.
