yeah, I noticed it looks like he finally gave up his web-domain.
May Not Be Possible...At Least Not Quickly.
There are some forum postings which even include Bill's. From what I knowm apparently his shop is officially closed and all of equipment is listed for sale as a buy it all arrangement for $50k. Bill recently wrote on the forum that he was going to start playing pool tournaments again and just enjoy the good life from now on.....admittedly a loss to the cue world but we're blessed that he was around making cues as long as he did...and especially for his innovations in cue making....He stands as one of the greatest cue makers of all time in my ranking of the greats and I'm sorry that I only own one mid 70's Joss West.
IN fact, I'm searching to get another and I want to get a radial pin, ivory joint version of another Bill Stroud cue. The problem is when I find an interesting cue, all too often I bang heads with its seller about the cue shafts not being straight or are too samll for me and we banter back & forth about this doesn't affect play...blah, blah blah....What difference....Who cares....It's my money and I want straight shafts and the sizes must be between 12.5mm -13mm. So I'll continue to look until I locate the cue and meanwhile just continue to enjoy playing my current Joss West that I bought from a forum member (jmurphy) four months ago...absolutelly a great guy to work with and a wonderful buying experience as well.
