What is "ibooks"??

It is an App on my Iphone or Ipad....not all books are available in this medium but i prefer it to a hard copy book just easier to carry my phone around with 100 books vs carrying around a 100 hard copies

You read 100 books simultaneously!?

I forgot to add, I have both the Kindle app and the Nook app on my iphone. Both are much, much better than the ibook app and both are free if you have an account with Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

Many books are reference especially books we keep. Before the internet I had several thousand books in my home library. I now have almost none. I don't even bother keeping cook books because anything I need to know is on line.

You really didn't catch the sarcasm in my post?

You probably didn't catch that my response to you was also sarcasm. I hope you don't actually think I thought you were stupid as to not be able to think of a reason for someone to have 100 books on their phone. If I believe that I would have never responded. I would not try to embarrass someone.

You are correct, I did not catch the sarcasm.

....huzz runs through thread chasing away others discussing sarcasm rather that pool books on the ibooks app, like an old lady would chase out mice with a broom.....

Lol there is some sarcasm for ya but seriously list a good pool book i can check if its available in the app

"Playing off the Rail" isn't bad (although Annigoni is persona non grata around here.)

McGoorty: A Pool Room Hustler

The Hustler
The Color of Money (nothing like the movie... and much better than the movie)

Road Player: The Danny Diliberto Story

The Hustler and the Champ
Hustler Days

I have no idea how many of these are available in digital format; I do most of my book shopping at my locally owned bookstores.

Where is "here" and why is his presence no longer welcome? Just curious.

Pool Wars is also available on NOOK from Barnes and Noble. I haven't read it yet but I'm looking forward to it. Have to finish the latest mystery I'm reading......

Hustler Days was also a column in Billiards Digest by R.A. Dyer. I believe they were excerpts from the book. They should be in the BD archives if you're interested in a sample.
