Billiard Sanctuary (Pool School) Any Good?

If someone can recommend a better choice for instruction in my area let me know, by the way...

I live in Hobe Sound, Florida - 30 minutes North of West Palm Beach and 30 minutes South of Port Saint Lucie on the East Coast.

ive watched the dvd set and it looked pretty good to me........closely followed the set pause finish freeze that randyg teaches.

Personally, I'd find somewhere else to go. Tim White has been known to use questionable business practices and from his posts on forums that I've read seems to have an ego the size of which only Fast Larry could possibly match.

RandyG is going to be in Bradenton Fl March 23-25. You may want to seriously consider getting into that class
You can call him at 800 707-0158

Scott Lee travels quite a bit, would probably meet with you in your area. He works with randyg and is a great instructor. He posts on this forum and there are many positive comments about his work. I had lessons from him and believe you will get what you want and need.

I have his videos and they are excellent. Especially on stroke.

So far as picking an instructor, around here you can get a 1 hour lesson with most instructors. Might want to get 1 hour lessons with several different instructors, then pick the one you think is best.

I think it is kind of a personality thing. Might "click" better with one person than another. Although someone else might be the exact opposite!

Bert Kinister

I would recommend Bert Kinister, Briesath or Mark Wilson. Depends on your current level. A local BCA certified instructor may be able to help you. Florida probably has their own folks- call Rick Howard or even message Neil Fujiwara on the Seyberts board for some leads on an instructor
