Recently, forum member cantplayalick created a thread to see if there was any market for modern style billiard apparel in hopes to start their own line that would be more graphically based, since they already do airbrushed clothing currently.

I replied to that thread (first reply on page 2 of the thread) saying that I would like something on the classier end of things. Simple, clean, unobtrusive, etc... Stuff like that is just more my style. After a bit of thinking, I came to the age old conclusion: If you want something that nobody makes... make it yourself!
I wanted to reference the original thread to avoid being accused of "idea theft," or something similar. It seems that our ideas are different and will probably appeal to different crowds, for the most part. I know that there are a few people on this forum that are quick to jump to conclusions and I want to make sure that my head doesn't get ripped off. If anyone has a problem with what I am proposing below, especially cantplayalick, please politely let me know. There is no ill will here.
The line would be very simplistic, classy and the focus would be more on materials than graphics and designs. Most importantly, it must all be very comfortable to play pool in. I'm not even sure I want to do a T-Shirt. If I did, it would be something added to the line far down the road. The line would probably start with a classic polo, 2 or 3 button, in classic black.
I really don't have much money to invest in a start up, so it would be slow going in the beginning. I will probably only make a dozen or two to start with and feel out the market from there. I already have some ideas of a label name and logos, but I need your help on sizing.
What size are you? I won't be able to offer all sizing initially (just can't afford it), so if you guys could help me out with the top 2-3 sizes you would be looking for, I would appreciate it. I would think that M-L-XL should cover it pretty well, but I haven't really worked in clothing before.
Also, what is a good price point to shoot for? How much would you pay for a nice, comfortable, higher end polo shirt from a billiard-centric apparel company? $30, $40, $50, $60, heck maybe even $80 if the materials are nice enough? I know that many golf shirts sell for this much, and more, but billiards is also a far different market.
