Billiards Digest Subscription Rate

Great first post!! I went to pooldawg.com and got a subscription for $24.95!! Thanks so much for posting this! I might still have been unable to subscribe if my mother hadn't sent me money for my birthday, which by the way, is tomorrow, happy Fourth of July!

Does that special price apply to renewals as well as first time subscribers?

I like the magazine, still enjoy having a piece of paper to carry around and read or put on the table in the pool room, but I won't be renewing either.

It isn't because of the price, it's because of the fact that when I subscribed they were offering the 2 DVD set by Jeanette Lee as a bonus for signing up. I never got the DVDs, when I called a month later they said they had "supply issues" but they would give me a couple months free extension on my subscription. The person in customer service said I could call back in a month of so and they should have more in and could send me some when they get more - BUT, only if I call them and ask for it. Why wouldn't they be automatically sending them out to everyone they owe it to? Maybe because every single month for the last 7 months I have called them and they still don't have them in.

Anyone else think they never had more than maybe 10 copies and never planned on honoring their offer to people? THAT'S why I wouldn't want to give them any more of my money. And regardless what you may think of the DVD offer and it's value, it was promised as a bonus with no intention of delivery in my opinion.

On Amazon.com, a 12 issue subscription to Billiards Digest is $30. Billiards.com lists it at $26.
