I mentioned this in another post. I think people that playing pool serious or just on a consistant basis per say, gain better analytical skills and sales/communication/negotiation skills for use outside of the pool hall. You are constantly thinking ahead in the game, your mind is constantly at work figuring out what you and your opponent are going to do. No two games are the same and you have to be crafty about getting good games.

I know I did bad in Geometry and Trig, but hella good at figuring out angles on a pool table. :)

sales...you mean like when a player unloads his cue for cheap to pay for his rent?

negotiation...like when players whine about their handicap, or try to make a game that never happens because they can't agree to anything?

:):):) just kidd'n

Some North Texas high school kids are taking their math problems to the pool table. The Berkner High School billiards club is helping students get better grades.

Why don't we put it to overdrive, only classical music will be played where pool tables are located.

Having started at 9 and

now having a degree in engineering IMO are definitely related the pool aspects of geometry and physics help you to understand these subjects much more easily ! :)
