It's a cool idea, but you're not going to sell me on a shot clock for amateur carom. Pool maybe, 3 cushion, hell no.
Someone asked that I add the feature that beeps every 10 seconds. I thought it would be annoying but it turns out to be very useful. It actually helps me slow down and take more time, reminding me that I always have at least 10 seconds to stand there and think.
I had a habit of shooting too fast and that helped me fix it.
Even if there is no clock and instead just a device that beeps once 10 seconds after the ball stops would be very useful for a lot of people.
