I'm a noob and in the market for a 8' slate pool table - can somebody please answer the following questions?
1. What is the cheapest table that can be purchased for under $2000? If not slate, are there any other tables that be considered?
2. Are there any delivery and installation agencies who can be employed to do this job? If yes, what is the amount I should be prepared to spend? I live in PA.
3. Finally and most important - I've a base room of size 14' x 18', can I use sliding pads to slide the table when not in use to make room for other activities? If yes, what brand or where should I buy such pads? If no, what are the other alternatives for sliding/moving the table when not in use?
