Hello

I've been following these and other videos from youtube , and in my opinion they are almost awesome. Almost ?? yes because there´s much important information that, at least for me, is lost because the videos are in korean. Nevertheless great work.

Kind regards
Francisco

There are some Korean produced lessons in English - the lessons are by Dani Sanchez and Blomdahl and they are in English

this one by Sanchez

if you search you will find them if they are still up.

Hello

Yes, and from Caudron as well, but there are some lessons from the korean players, that i really would like to understand several of those shots, but in korean that´s a language that i do not understand.

thank you
Francisco

Maybe Yesyura, Ira Lee, or other AZBilliards Members that understand Korean might help. With special shot, if you give them the video time frame of shot.

I studied Korean for a short time due to an Korean girlfriend. Absolutely none of it was retained, but my favorite part of the language is that the shape of the characters in the alphabet mimic the shape that your mouth makes when sounding the words. Brilliant!

BTW - I see you are from Portugal - I have 2 Sampiao cues from that country.

Hello

Oh men, those cues are for sure old, and old is a nice word. Many years ago Sampaio was a brand of cues and tables, carom and pool. In the club where i play we had 4 Sampaio tables before the Chevillottes we have now. I believe we still have some old Sampaio cues in our room.

I wonder how did you get those cues?? Any good story to share??

Francisco

From the Dani Sanchez video it *appears* to me they are saying his cue is 560 grams, or 19.75 ounces.

If so, how would that strike y'all? Seems heavy to me, but who am I to argue with greatness.

So just in the few days since I saw this Dani Sanchez lesson, I feel like I've used it 100 times.

Anyone else have a non-numeric system they'd like to share that they find incredibly useful?
