I just got the BlueGrass cue from rayjay today (THANKS A TON, RAY!!!)...so I thought I'd take a couple quick pics of my two BEM players.

Yes....I STILL have the Scruggs!! ;) :)

I wish I could capture the birdseyes in these two gorgeous cues....but I think the pics are good enough to give you, at least, an idea.

Sounds like it is time for a road trip...
This way both of us can get some private instruction from Jimmy on how he managed to take some awesome pictures of his JW and Gina Cues.

It's along way to southern Indiana. I don't know if you east coast swingers could handle the Bible belt. Mark, we don't believe in that spoonin' sh*t. :D :D :D

Thanks, fellas.

I think I'm gonna give the pics another whirl this weekend. I'll borrow a Nikon D100 from work, and take some photos in natural light (hopefully, the sun will be out this Saturday!!). The BEM in both cues are really stunning, if viewed the RIGHT way. I'll see what I can do.

Jimmy....don't knock it, brother!! Just let it happen naturally!! (I'm originally from Indy, too....so I know EXACTLY what you midwestern types are capable of!! :eek: :D )

Okay...I just grossed myself out.....

Myron - not sure which one will be the "regular" player. I love how both of 'em play....but all will be thrown into the air when my Boar is ready!! ;) Between those three....AND the Jim White coming tomorrow....I've got some SERIOUS thinking to do!! Ideally, I'd like to give each one a week during the month...but we all know that swapping cues out all the time is kinda damaging to the ol' game.

Time will tell......... :p :p
 
you will definitely have a hard time deciding on your player. not to mention i was at joe's last night and saw the progress on your cue (and mine). you are really going to love that one.

You will have some winners to pick from that is for sure. You will have to play with the cues a couple of sessions to figure out which will compliment your style of stroke. I am sure you will have fun playing them all - I know I would.

I can't wait to get it, Guy!! From what I saw at his place a couple weeks ago, the cue he's making for me is gonna be stunning!!
