Hi everyone!! I have a friend that's in B'ham this week for work and is looking for a place to play. He happened to find Poppa G's last night and played a guy named Steve. He said Steve took him upstairs to the "action room," and started woofing about how nobody can beat him on any table in the house. Long story short...my friend ends up winning 3 of 5 sets and Steve is getting pissed because he's losing to my friend and Steve wants to jack up the bet. My friend ends up leaving because he just wanted to play some friendly pool and relax, but he did say that Poppa's is really nice. He asked me to find out what other places there is to play in B'ham. He's actually in Pelham, and doesn't know the area too well since he's been there all of 24 hours. If anybody wants to play a little pool and have a beer or two, let me know and I can tell my friend.
