BK4 Tip

I'm looking to pickup a BK4. Wondering what the "hard synthetic" tip that comes standard with it is. PoolDawg lists it as hard synthetic. Predator website says KTRL. Makes it sound like best of both worlds. How does it compare to some of the other optional mid-level price upgrades?

No clue what it is but it's a good cue and really doesn't feel all that different from a BK Rush. I have both currently, BK Rush is my main break cue and I picked up a BK4 to keep in another case with with a wood shafted playing cue....just felt like having an all wood alternative setup and the BK4 was on sale.

Was surprised how nice it was. Used it for a while as my BK Rush had the tip pop off on me after using it for a little over a year so the BK4 was pulled into active duty while the BK Rush was off getting the tip replaced.

Agreed. I really like the BK4 and at the sale price it’s a no brainer.
